It's Nice to Meet You 

Now a little crash course...

Katy High School (2009-2012)

I graduated from Katy High School in May of 2012. While attending KHS I was participated in every Friday Night Lights as a cheerleader and I was an active member of the Katy FFA Chapter. I raised lambs all four years of high school and placed 1st in our area Radio contest each year. I worked in my church nursery as a caretaker and was and participated in the youth choir. These activities and experiences taught me a great deal of discipline, time management, and responsibility.  

College (2012- 2017)

I obtained my Bachelors degree of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in May of 2017 from Texas A&M University in College Station, Tx. I completed my student teaching in Katy ISD from December to May of 2017, where I was hired onto the 2nd grade team of the campus. While attending Texas A&M University I served as a student worker in an Instructional Technology Lab as a Senior Technology Mentor. There I was expected to teach student and faculty about new instructional technologies available and ways to use the technology in their lessons. I also presented to many classes on tutorials for specific instructional technologies. During my role as a tech mentor I had the great opportunity to present at a leadership conference with one of my professors. My time in the tech lab at TAMU was where my interest in implementing and supporting educators in instructional technology grew. 

Lamar University 

I am currently continuing to teach 3rd grade Math, Science, and Social Studies, and serve as my grade level Team Lead, as I work towards my Masters degree in Educational Technology and Leadership from Lamar University. I am on track to graduate with my degree May 2021. With my degree I hope to complete my PASL and obtain my certification as a principal.
